- The naturally aspirated LT1 6.2-liter V-8, which is rumored to be called the LT2, should generate approximately 500 hp.
- A twin-turbo overhead-cam V-8 with a flat-plane crankshaft is another possibility.
- An all-wheel drive hybrid configuration may also be in the works.
- It is possible that the C8 mid-engine Corvette will be dual-clutch only.
New Corvette C8 Exterior Features
The new Corvette C8 could feature a removable roof panel, so it is not yet certain whether a conventional convertible option will be available. Because the engine of this vehicle will be located behind the cabin, you can expect the proportions of the C8 Corvette to be significantly different from past models. According to spy photos, it appears as though the Corvette will still feature some of its signature good looks, including its roof line, windshield, and quad tail lights.
